Wheel & Axle Assemblies : These wheels are made from forgings with minimum 2.5 times reduction and are machined, rolling face surface hardened to a hardness of 55 to 58 RC upto a depth of 18 to 20 mm . These wheels are used in manufacture of Bogies for B.O.I wagons , Slab Transfer Cars, Ladle transfer Cars and all other similar Rolling Stock used inside a steel plant.
