Electric Winch
These are Electrically operated winches which imparts up and down movement to upper and lower bell inside Top Charging Equipment. This Equipment is installed on ground near the Blast Furnace. The up & down movement is through a steel wire rope which unwinds / winds on a Rope drum installed on a frame and Electrically operated through a Electric Motor, Gear Boxes, limit switches etc. termed as Electric Winch.
